Navigating Intimacy Without Pressure

LGBTQ+ sex therapy, Embracing Asexuality

My Clients

I offer counseling services for individuals and couples (of all sizes) over the age of 18. All races, cultures, identities, genders, sexualities and abilities are welcome here. Regardless if that is what brings you to therapy or just one of the many pieces that make up YOU, it is embraced here.

Asexuality

Asexuality is a sexual orientation where one may experience little to no sexual attraction to others. So many of the messages we receive around identity and relationships assumes sexual attraction or a desire for sexual intimacy. That is not an experience we all have. Here you can embrace your identity, navigate all forms intimacy and. strengthen your relationships without those assumptions.

Services

Sex Therapy

While sex therapy can address multiple areas, I specifically work with individual clients who want to explore their own personal sexuality/identity and find ways to find more fulfillment out of intimacy. This can look like exploring beliefs around sex, defining how you personally experience intimacy, and create a more fulfilling sex life.

Couples Therapy

Every individual and sexuality is unique, and so is every relationship. Navigating relationships with partners of different sexual orientations or identities can introduce some unique considerations. I work with couples to implement communication, boundaries and understanding of each other, so that all individuals in relationships can embrace and live their most authentic lives.

Religious Trauma and Faith Transitions:

The messages we have about ourselves, our sexuality, and beliefs about sex have been constructed by our experiences growing up. For those who grew up in strict organized religions, you may have experienced negative messages around yourself, your identity, or around sex and intimacy. I work to help you process, and understand more about the messages you may have received and work towards creating an affirming and deeper understanding of who you really are.
